Do you know business leaders who put sustainable value creation, both for society and company, at the core of their business? Leaders who earn trust from stakeholders and are advocates of businessworthy values? Nominate a candidate for the Oslo Business for Peace Award today!
Due to some challenges with the registration system, the Foundation has extended the nomination period with one week, with the new deadline being November 28th. The nomination process was launched on International Day of Peace, September 21st, and has been promoted by the Foundation’s nomination partners online and throughout their global networks. We would like to give a big thanks to all of them for their efforts and encourage everyone to make a final push, helping to find the best candidates for the 2018 Oslo Business for Peace Award.
Honourees are selected by an independent committee consisting of Nobel Laureates in peace and economics, after a global, bottom-up process through our nomination partners. Previous winners include Elon Musk (Tesla and SolarCity), Paul Polman (Unilever), Marilyn Carlson Nelson (Carlson Companies) Richard Branson (Virgin Group) and Sarah Beydoun (Sarah’s Bag). The 2018 Honourees will be celebrated at an open Award Ceremony in Oslo City Hall, May 16th, 2018.
